Nukes to Belarus
Recent events in Russia left people scratching their heads. As many are aware, Yevgeny Prigozhin, the leader of the Wagner mercenary group, led his troops towards Moscow. He abruptly halted their advance 200km (150 miles) away from the capital. The news media gave it wall-to-wall coverage for a full day. That prompted the usual parade of “experts” to offer their opinions. Surprisingly, some of these so called know-it-alls admitted, “I don’t know”.
In search of reliable information on activities in the Middle East, I often turn to Amir Tsarfati of Behold Israel. He’s a Bible teacher well-versed in Bible prophecy. Amir also speculated on Russia as the events as they unfolded. His speculations have proven to be the most plausible on the incident compared to secular news channels in the days that followed. Even before Prigozhin and his group withdrew from Russia (to paraphrase Amir), he suggested the following:
Charade?
Amir: “Prigozhin and the Wagner group seemed to have planned their route into Russia to pass through a Russian military base housing nuclear missiles. Strange as it may seem, they seized control of the military headquarters located in Rostov-on-Don. From there, they moved on toward Moscow. Prigozhin abruptly stopped 200km outside Moscow. This operation may be a ‘false flag’. In other words, it could be a coordinated effort involving Putin, Prigozhin, and Belarusian dictator Lukashenko. If so, the likely purpose was to transport nukes into Belarus” proposed Amir.
This might also have been a charade to weed out those not loyal to Putin. His general, Sergei Sorovkin is said to have had advance notice of Prigozhin’s plans and did nothing to stop him. The Moscow Times reports from sources close to the Russian Ministry of Defense: The former commander of the war in Ukraine, Sergei Sorovkin, who, according to the New York Times, was a secret partner in Yevgeny Prigozhin’s rebellion plans, has been arrested.
The Deal Maker & Nuke Taker
Lukashenko allegedly brokered a deal between Putin and Prigozhin that allowed the latter to seek exile in Belarus. Several days later in a followup report by the mainstream news in the U.S., they reported this:
‘Lukashenko, in his own words, confirmed that most of the Russian nuclear weapons being deployed to Belarus have arrived. He claims to share control over them with Moscow.’
Considering that the nukes have indeed arrived in Belarus, it raises the question. Who facilitated their transport? Hmmm. Maybe Amir’s earlier assessment was correct. Belarus hasn’t been a nuclear nation since the collapse of the USSR. Almost in a day, they’ve come into possession of weapons of mass destruction. Would our news media tell us if this activity moves the clock closer to WWWIII?
It also raises the question. Can the world’s news media can be trusted? Will they tell us everything we need to know to make informed decisions about our safety and peace of mind?
Trustworthy News
The Bible has told us the truth. Here is yet another question. Will we listen even when it’s not what we want to hear? It’s critical that the Bible be our primary source of news. It warns us with 100% accuracy and prepares us for the days to come. Thankfully, we can have peace regardless of what we see or hear from the secular news.

And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching. Hebrews 10:24,25
Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near. Luke 21:28
Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man. Luke 21:36
